Meet Scrungy

Welcome to Scrungy and Friends. Scrungy is a fictional character that I write about. Scrungy has two novels so far and a third is in the works. In Scrungy: Abandoned, Scrungy becomes a throw-away pet in a throw-away society. After being tossed out on a deserted country road at five weeks old, facing starvation and death, Scrungy is befriended by a large gray male named Deedum. He is then introduced to the land of Koac: a land of stray, abandoned, abused, and feral cats held together by a fierce leader they call King Preylor. Scrungy grows up in this feral society, falls in love, and faces disasters and challenges that force him to make important choices. In the sequel, Scrungy: Rescue, Scrungy gains firsthand knowledge of evil people in the world and the harm that they can inflict upon small creatures such as himself. When a feline friend is tortured, and thrown away as he once had been, Scrungy and his friends seek revenge but end up being rescuers instead: forced to return to the very town from which many of his friends had once lived. Scrungy finds out that not all humans are evil and is again faced with challenges that will alter his life. The third novel will be Scrungy: Mission. Stay-tuned, the ride of Scrungy's life is just beginning…and that's all that I'm saying for now.
